Our Work

CPPA focuses on engaging Chinese voters in-language in Boston, Malden, and Quincy. We communicate with voters in Cantonese, Taishanese, Mandarin, and English on a platform of fighting for the public good, using a combination of in-person canvass, phone, text, and direct mail. Since 2011, CPPA has trained and developed dozens of working class Chinese immigrants to be leaders in their communities, mobilizing their neighbors and networks to win concrete changes that will improve their own lives and build solidarity with communities of color.

2022 Accomplishments

In 2022, CPPA was proud to support and WIN the Fair Share Amendment and licenses for undocumented people alongside our coalition partners. CPPA expanded our work into communities outside of Boston, conducting outreach to voters statewide. We recruited and integrated more volunteers and leaders into our work this cycle. We knocked over 6,500 doors, and also sent over 15,200 texts and 52,370 mailings, all conducted in-language.
